husqvarna 350 chain saw air filter
husqvarna 350 chain saw air filter .My 359 starts and runs fine for about 4 minutes. If i let it idle for about 5 seconds, it really starts to rev up on its own, if i goose the trigger quickly, this keeps the idle normal.
If i let the idle get out of control, it bogs down and dies, giving it throttle at that point is too late.
It will not start until it cools down at that point.
The exhaust and cylander housing feels hot.
I have tried new gas, and sparkplug, cleaned the air filter.
I even tried testing with air filter removed.
I have adjusted the idle, and both jets according to the manual, getting the same results.
Next i will try fuel filter, and maybe check the air valve.
I only have about 50 hours on it, and have always used fresh gas and husky oil.
Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated.
It sounds like you might have an air leak.
Check all the fasteners on the carb and the rest of the engine as well.
It also could be the carburetor.
Crankshaft seals are certainly a suspect.
